CERESIT® CL 62 is a trilaminate tape for sealing expansion joints and deformable joints in ceramic tile cladding in wet rooms. Especially recommended for sealing joints between walls and floors and expansion joints in residential construction, e.g. in bathrooms, kitchens. CERESIT CL 62 is used together with CERESIT waterproof coatings in places where vertical and horizontal surfaces are jointed, edges, expansion joints, passages of installation pipes, etc. For indoor application. Available size: 50m.

The substrate must be solid, dry, clean and free of substances that may impair adhesion. A few isolated cracks in the screed do not cause a problem as long as the crack edges are level. Before applying the CERESIT CL 62 membrane, pipe penetrations as well as wall and floor connections (gullies etc.) should be waterproofed with the prefabricated CERESIT system components.
The CERESIT CL 62 tape is placed between layers of sealing materials. Apply the first layer of the coating, apply the tape on the edges, expansion joints, passages of installation pipes, etc., press and embed, covering with the second layer of sealing material.
Work should be carried out in dry conditions at temperature air and ground from +5°C to +25°C.
