CERESIT® CT 48 is used for protecting facades, concrete constructions, interiors. It can be used on the mineral substrates and for painting CERESIT. The structure of the coating ensures fast moisture evaporation from the substrate and creates an efficient protection against the substrate moisture and humidity. It is highly recommended to use CT 48 in historical objects, on the renovation and aerated plasters, on all the surfaces where aesthetic qualities and duration of the coating is required. The paint CERESIT CT 48 may be applied on carrying, smooth, dry and clean substrates. Firstly, uneven and damaged substrates should be repaired. The existing dirt, layers of low-strength, lime and adhesive paint coatings, as well as the remainders of wallpaper or glues should be completely removed. After being washed with water, the substrate should dry.
Before the paint application, the content of the container should be carefully stirred by means of a drill with a mixer for about 2 minutes. Between the application of the subsequent layers at least 12- to 24-hour technological breaks should be maintained. CERESIT CT 48 should be applied evenly by means of a brush, roller or a sprinkling device.
Application should be performed in dry conditions with the ambient and substrate temperature ranging from +5 °C to +25 °C and the humidity below 80 %. The paint may cause discoloration impossible to be removed on glass, ceramic, wooden, metal and stone surfaces. Skin and eyes should be protected. Protective gloves and glasses should be worn while applying the paint.
CERESIT CT 48 is used for protecting facades, concrete constructions, interiors. CT 48 can be used for painting CERESIT CT 34, CT 35 and CT 137 mineral plasters, CERESIT CT 60, CT 63, CT 64 acrylic plasters, CERESIT CT 72, CT 73 silicate plasters, CERESIT CT 174, CT 175 silicate-silicone plasters as well as si?licone plasters CERESIT CT 74, CT 75 and elastomeric plaster CERESIT CT 79 applied on traditional substrates and within CERESIT ETICS with the application of EPS-boards.
CERESIT CT 48 can be applied on the mineral substrates: concrete, cement plasters, lime–cement plasters and lime plasters.
