CERESIT® CL 50 is a flexible two-component alternative sealing for waterproofing bathrooms, swimming pools, terraces, balconies etc in combination with waterproof flexible sealing products, e.g. CL 152, CL 82 - CL 87 under ceramic tile coverings. With crack bridging properties. Suitable for indoor and outdoor application. Waterproof according to EN14891 CM02 (-20°C).Available bucket size. 12,5kg.

Surfaces must be dry, rigid, sound and free of oil, dust, dirt or other barriers to adhesion. Calcium sulphate substrates (moisture ≤ 0.5%) should be mechanically grinded and dusted. Plasterboards must be prepared according to the recommendations of their manufacturers.
CERESIT CL 50 consists of 2 components: powder (2 x 3,75kg bags) and a liquid component (5l bucket). First pour the liquid into another bucket, then add the powder in the right mixing ratio and stir with a slow-rotating stirrer until the mixture is completely free of lumps. After a maturing time of 5 minutes, give the mixture another stir so that a spreadable consistency is achieved.
It is necessary to apply two sealing coats with a dry layer thickness of at least 2 mm. The first coat should be applied with a brush. The second coat should be applied crosswise to the first one. The thickness of a single layer of CERESIT CL 50 should not exceed 1mm.
Can be applied on concrete plasters and cement screeds, cement and lime plasters, aerated concrete, calcium sulphate, gypsum substrates, plasters and plasterboards. Do not use CERESIT CL 50 outside on old ceramics, mastic asphalts and paintwork.
CERESIT CL 50 can be applied indoors and outdoors, for waterproofing bathrooms, swimming pools, terraces, balconies etc. in combination with waterproof flexible sealing products, e.g. CL 152, CL 82 - CL 87 under ceramic tile coverings.
It can be stored up to 12 months from the production date if stored in dry and cool conditions and in original and undamaged packages. Protect from frost!
