CERESIT® CL 82 is a waterproofing tape suitable for the permanently watertight bridging of expansion and edge joints, pipe penetrations, floor drains and room corners. It is used in combination with other CERESIT waterproofing products under ceramic tiles and slabs. CL 82 is suitable for indoor and outdoor use and for use on walls and floors.Available tape size: 120 mm

Apply a suitable CERESIT waterproofing product (e.g. slurry or epoxy resin) on the wall or floor according to the instructions of the Technical Data Sheet (observe the specified working time and pot life).
After that, embed CERESIT CL 82 ULTRATAPE into the waterproofing product. For this purpose, unroll a suitable length of tape and place it without folds into the fresh waterproofing layer.
Excess material can be removed within the pot life while still fresh, e.g. with CE 51 EpoxyClean, but cured material can only be removed mechanically.
CERESIT CL 82 is a waterproof sealing tape for expansion joints and deformed joints between ceramic tiles. CL 152 is used for application in kitchens, balconies and terraces as material to be placed between layers of sealing materials.
Tape CERESIT CL 82 is used for reinforcing flexible watertight layers CERESIT CL 50, CL 51, CR 166 and for seal coating CERESIT CR 90 at the places of connection with horizontal edges, expansion gaps etc.
Application of CERESIT CL 82 should be performed in dry conditions with the ambient temperature from +5 to +25°C. Given data was obtained at an ambient and material temperature of +23° C and 50 % relative air humidity. Please note that under other climatic conditions hardening can be accelerated or delayed and that the product itself is subject to local conditions such as amount of water and hardening.
